Fans Forum
Submitted by Doug Lawson on Fri, 12/10/2007 - 11:08am.The Board of the Watford Supporters' Trust welcomes the announcement of the Fans' Forum to take place at the Metropolitan Police Club in Bushey on October 30th. We believe that it is important that the management of the club makes the time to communicate with the fans and to listen to their concerns. We were also gratified that the club listened to our comments regarding the venue as the switch from the Hilton to a more affordable location will open up participation to a wider section of the support.
Congratulations Darius!
Submitted by Doug Lawson on Fri, 12/10/2007 - 11:07am.The Watford Supporters' Trust would like to express warm congratulations to Darius Henderson on his recognition as the Powerade Player of the Month for September. He impressed many Watford fans last season with his refusal to hide during his goal drought. The moment that he stepped up to take the penalty at West Ham and the subsequent goal celebration has to rate as one of the high points of the season. That strength of character has been in evidence again when he found himself seemingly surplus to requirements in the Summer.

Watford FC Chairman, Graham Simpson, presented Don with an engraved silver salver in recognition of his achievement.
Statement Regarding ‘Olive Branch’
Submitted by Doug Lawson on Thu, 05/07/2007 - 11:00pm.The board of the Watford Supporters Trust was delighted to learn of Aidy Boothroyd’s visit to the Watford Observer offices on Thursday to deliver a letter he described as an ‘olive branch’. After the recent conflicts between the club and the newspaper, this gesture on Aidy’s part is a very welcome development. It is our belief that a community club such as Watford should have a good working relationship with the local newspaper, so it was very gratifying to hear that Aidy shares those sentiments.
