Graham Simpson's Open Letter - The Trust responds.
Submitted by Doug Lawson on Wed, 06/02/2008 - 10:53am.Watford Supporters’ Trust Statement In Response to the Open Letter from the Chairman of Watford Football Club
The text of Graham Simpson's open letter and the Chairman's letter from the Watford Leisure PLC 2007 Annual Report can be found below this article.
Following the publication of Graham Simpson’s open letter to supporters of Watford Football Club, the Board of the Watford Supporters’ Trust (WST) feels that it is appropriate to make its own comments on the matters raised.
WST understand Graham Simpson’s sadness that the Chairman of a small-town club, currently in with a good chance of promotion to the top division for the second time in three seasons, should find it necessary to so vigorously defend his record and that of his management team. However, we also appreciate the very real concerns of the supporters, and we would like to put on record the Trust Board’s viewpoint on these issues under the headings that were used in the Chairman’s communication.
